Description
Letter from Vanessa Bell, Charleston, Firle, East Sussex, to Duncan Grant, originally enclosing a notice, perhaps relating to Society of Mural Painters. Lists some of Bell's and Grant's decorative schemes, some executed with Quentin Bell. Discusses problems at publishing firm Rupert Hart-Davis Ltd, and an accident in Cannes involving the death of Mervyn Evans, husband of Hermione Wills Evans, and companion of Bunny Garnett's son Richard. Also mentions Angelica and Clive Bell, Claude (?Rogers), Dickey (?E.M.O'R.
