Description
[Translation/transcription]
University Hospital
Ward 51
22 November 1972
Dear Pepi,
Here I lie still, in motley company, being looked after like a millionaire, awaiting all manner of awful treatments that I can no longer avoid.
Still, I owe my life to Joyce; it was she who had the presence of mind to get in touch with University College Hospital. Today she told me that she herself was seen and treated here. Hopefully it will all be fine; we have all sorts of plans.
Love to you all,
Erich
