Explore the graphic style, landscapes and interiors of Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic paintings and screenprints in this five week artist-led course. You will be invited to look at a variety of motifs and themes, including traditional still life, the 'dot' and abstraction. Gain insight into Lichtenstein’s pop art compositions and methods using a combination of screenprinting, assemblage and collage. Set in the Lichtenstein exhibition and the Clore Studio, you will develop your own work each week to produce a small edition.
This course uses water-based screen print inks on paper. All basic materials provided. No printmaking experience necessary.
