Natalia Goncharova designed the costumes for Serge Diaghilev's Ballets Russes. Having studied the sculptural and moulding qualities of costumes worn and performed in by dancers, her costumes became decorative art experiments.
At this workshop you will work alongside a costume designer to create your own experiments exploring the relationship between the body, movement and light. In the style of Goncharova, you will learn and apply practical techniques combining simple geometric shapes to create your own costume.
