Initially recording the changes affecting rural and industrial communities in the early 1960s, he has developed a politically and aesthetically uncompromising body of work in which history, the working class, labour and production, immigration, the environment and the struggle against fascism have been recurring themes.
These screenings presented at É«¿Ø´«Ã½ are part of the organised by the Goethe-Institut London, 9–17 November 2012.
