Teachers are invited to this workshop with artist Jennifer Collier, where you will have the opportunity to explore a range of textile techniques in the studio which can then be taught to students. Jennifer's own practice focuses on creating work from paper; by bonding, waxing, trapping and stitching producing unusual paper ‘fabrics’, which are used to explore the ‘remaking’ of household objects. Inspired by Glam! The Performance of Style!, participants will create their own works with materials that reference the exhibition themes of surface, glamour and identity.
