VerbalEyes: finding a voice through art gives schoolchildren the opportunity to explore art and language using the Tate collection.
Over 400 children and their teachers from seven primary schools in the London boroughs of Newham, Greenwich and Westminster are involved in the project. Two classes from each school work with artists and writers on a project over the course of two weeks, during which they visit Tate Britain, investigate different elements of art and language and create a final piece of artwork.
