The Tate teachers programme offers teachers, gallery educators and artists the opportunity to work with practising artists to explore practical and creative approaches to engaging with art and the gallery.
Our study days, teachers’ evenings and courses reflect the interests and concerns of current art practice, framed by the alternative teaching and learning environment of a national art museum. We ensure your time spent with us provides a space for reflection on your teaching alongside colleagues from different educational settings.
Recognising the expertise, interests and experience of the group as integral to the shared learning experience, we encourage an open and creative environment bringing the practices of art and teaching into dialogue.
