From elephants to kittens, there are more animals in the Tate Britain galleries than you might first think. Blind and partially sighted visitors are invited to join us for an audio description tour of Tate collection works where animals are used as either hidden or revealing symbols or in abstraction as political statements.
This tour is lead by Luke Smith and Anna-Marie Gray. The talk will take place seated in the gallery with trained picture describers giving a detailed and fascinating description of the works. Sighted companions and guide dogs are welcome.
If you have any other access needs that you would like to let us know about please contact: Anna Murray, Assistant Curator: Access anna.murray@tate.org.uk or call +44 (0)20 7887 8888
