Raw Canvas is a youth initiative, for young people aged 15-23, that offers another perspective on modern and contemporary art. Participants are invited to draw on their personal experience and knowledge when thinking about and interpreting works of聽art.

Through a variety of free workshops and art-related events, the programme seeks聽to:
- Bridge the gap between the school trip and the independent visit to art聽galleries
- Enable young people to understand all this art malarkey by giving them the opportunity to have a voice and make their own conclusions about Modern聽Art
- Establish a young, confident and informed art-gallery聽audience.
